​It represents the Environmental Impact Study (later for brevity also "SIA") of the Project of technical and economic feasibility of a new Bridge over the Arno and its viability for the connection between the junction of the Great Communication Road FI-PI-LI of Lastra a Signa and the S.R. 66 "Pistoiese", functional to the decongestion of such node to North-West of the Florentine plain.

The project approves an infrastructure closer to the towns of Lastra a Signa and Signa that can be functional both to the connections between FIPILI and SR 66 and as variants to the towns, identifying the Party concerned by crossing the Arno River in the areas identified in Annex A to the Agreement.  With the aim of maintaining the new infrastructure within the highlighted perimeter and also having to ensure compliance with the current legislation regarding the geometric characteristics of the roads, the current project has therefore been developed, whose planimetric rays, in connecting Via Arte della Paglia with the junction of the FIPILI SGC, are normativamente definitive in function of the length of the correspondents rectifiers and the maximum speeds of plan. The project is based on what has been developed since 2006 in relation to the Bretella toll motorway Lastra a Signa-Prato, a link between the S.G.C. FI-PI-LI and the Central Tuscany Interporto in Prato, to be financed with private funds and with a regional public contribution, for the design, implementation and management of the same ("project-financing"), whose elaborations, considered the increment of the costs of the work consequent to the successive legislative modifications and the bending of the traffic.
